    Dr. Hwang received her bachelor’s degree in physics from Princeton University and her doctorate and medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the John A. Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah. She went on to finish a two-year fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she performed lensectomy, vitrectomy, scleral buckles, lasers, and injections in infants, children, and adults.

    I absolutely love Dr. Hwang. I travel from out of state to see her for my now yearly appts. She's always so patient and caring, listening to my concerns and addressing them. She's and amazing clinician.

    Dr. Hwang is really thorough and observant. She is also friendly and calm, which is a nice thing when a person has just learned that their retina has a bunch of holes in it.

    I was very disappointed to hear she is being transferred away from the South Jordan clinic. Since I live in Eagle Mountain, that is clearly the most convenient place for me to get these critical eye treatments.
