Pediatrician Jose Morales is a very human person, a great researcher and up-to-date doctor. He knows a lot about children's health issues. He investigates what he doesn't know and calls you with another solution. He is very concerned about his patients and follows up. Most importantly, he doesn't invalidate your opinion as a mother, but on the contrary, he takes you into account. [TRANSLATED]

Dr. Jose is an excellent pediatrician who takes the time to explain everything in detail, making it easy for us as new parents to understand what's going on with our child. His knowledge and clear communication give us confidence and peace of mind during every visit. We truly appreciate the patience and care he shows, which makes a big difference for first-time parents like us. The only downside is the South Main Clinic location, which feels just average compared to other University of Utah clinics that are much more welcoming. I honestly wish Dr. Jose could practice at one of the better locations because his care deserves a brighter setting.

Dr. Jose Morales was very attentive during the consultation, he listened to all my concerns and performed a very complete physical evaluation of my daughter. Furthermore, when I arrived, he was already aware of her entire medical history, which is quite extensive. I am very happy to have an excellent doctor like him in our community. [TRANSLATED]

He did not take my concerns seriously until I pushed back multiple times. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Jose Morales Moreno is an exceptional physician. He has been my granddaughter doctor since she was just 3 months old. Rose has complex medical needs, including Level 3 non-verbal autism and cortical visual impairment (CVI), which require not only consistent care but also a provider who truly understands her unique challenges. The U of U South Main Clinic often serves as a teaching facility where many rotating doctors complete their internships. While we appreciate the learning environment, it became clear early on that Rose needed continuity in her care'someone she could build trust with over time and who would advocate for her best interests. Dr. Morales was the supervising doctor over many of the interns, but what set him apart was how he consistently took the time to personally check on Rose during every visit, even when he wasn't the primary provider that day.His dedication, compassion, & genuine concern for her well-being are what led us to request that he become her only Doc.

We love Dr Moreno!! He is so patient and always listens to our needs. He addresses our concerns and provides explanations that put us at ease. He's very nice to speak with and talks to my child and includes him in the care. We will never see another provider unless he leaves and we never want that to happen!

Dr. Morales went above and beyond and accommodating us when we were worried about our child's weight gain. He was incredibly thoughtful and thorough. We could not be more grateful for his care. He is one in million.
