I was disappointed with my experience with this doctor. During the assessment, I felt like my concerns were not fully heard, and the appointment felt more like a lecture than a collaborative discussion. I was given a photocopied pamphlet, which seemed outdated, and the information presented was readily available online. I had expected a more comprehensive assessment, including vital signs, body composition analysis, and personalized goals. Instead, the appointment felt rushed, and I left without feeling empowered to make changes to my diet. The doctor's communication style was not pleasant, and I felt dismissed when I tried to share my research and concerns. The lack of testing facilities and inability to order blood work or check glucose levels was surprising. I was also disappointed with the follow-up appointment scheduling, which seemed unnecessary and focused on reiterating previous information rather than tracking progress or setting new goals. Overall, I was expecting a more.

She gives very practical, tailored advice on improving my diet/health, listens to what I have been doing, and factors that in to her suggestions. I like being held accountable also. She is a very thoughtful and wise provider.

I would give Lucy an exceptional rating, if it were possible. Her encouragement is phenomenal. I am learning to not berate myself with her reminders that "I did not say that." when I say, I should be doing this or that... It isn't a "should" ideal, it is an effort to attain the goals set for my improved health. I have gotten the picture with her gentle reminder of "I did not say that." She allows me to figure it out and rephrase to a softer more gentle self correction.
