  • Richmond Scott Doxey, MD, CCMS, is a physician at the primarily at the Madsen Clinic in Salt Lake City, and also does shared medical visits at our Sugarhouse location. He attended medical school and completed his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, followed by Internal Medicine residency at the University of Washington – Boise program in Boise, Idaho. He stayed on as a chief resident for an additional year. He completed his board certification in Internal Medicine followed by Culinary Medicine Specialist certification. In addition to serving as chief resident, he also served on the Recruiting Committee and the Critical Care Committee at the Boise VA. He is currently a member of the ACP, and the Society for General Internal Medicine.

    Dr. Doxey is pleasant, makes suggestions that are easy for me to follow. He was understanding when I didn't continue to follow through using what he suggested (nasal spray) when it didn't seem necessary as long as prescribed.
